RIA Inc. is bringing to you a series of Road Show’s that we hope will be very informative and relevant for all those attending and we encourage everyone to set aside the dates in their calendars.
This Road Show is designed to deliver information on current hot topics;
– Update on the adoption of the ANSI/IICRC S500/S520 Standards of Care to Australian Standards.
The ME-094 Technical committee was formed in 2023 after a strong campaign for Standards Australia to adopt the ANSI/IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mould Remediation and the ANSI/IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration. These two standards will be the first restoration specific standards ever introduced into the Australian standards framework. Given the positive reception by all stakeholders, it is likely that other restoration standards will also be considered for adoption to Australian Standards in the future.
– Important Changes/Updates to the ANSI/IICRC S520 – 2024 Standard for Professional Mould Remediation.
There have been numerous and significant changes to the S520 Mould Remediation Standard as this update was almost a decade in the making. Mehmet Ucar was a member of the S520 Standards committee and as such is poised to deliver a Comprehensive presentation on the updates to the Mould Remediation Standard.
